It is with deepest sorrow that I list the passing of one of 2/4's Hero's of Vietnam.

My friend, fellow Hard Luck Hotel Marine and Association member Ernie W. Wallace passed away on 11 March 2008.

Ernie received the Navy Cross for actions taken on 18 August 1965 during Operation Starlite.  In the opinion of several that served with him he should have received the Medal of Honor.
