This is a page idea that I've toyed with for several months and it's time has come to act upon it.  This 2/4 website is not exactly a cheap undertaking.  There are monthly fees involved in hosting it, annual fees for the domain name and periodic expenses in maintaining it.  It is paid for entirely by me and I do not submit or pass on the bills to the Association for reimbursement.  As the website grows the fees grow for space on the "host" server.

I've tried to initiate a "Sponsor Page" for a small fee, that went over like a lead balloon...3 takers, and I was one of them.

Now I'm thinking of something else as a means of now offsetting these expenses...A FOR SALE page.  What I propose is that anyone that is a member or supporter of the 2/4 Association, with anything that they want to sell can have it posted to this For Sale page for 3 months at a time.

I will split any fees earned by donating 50% to the 2/4 Monument Fund.

A fee of  75-cents will be charged per item for 3 months of listing it.

For an extra 25-cents it can include a small photo for that 3 months.

As with anything else, there are rules:

Nothing can be sold that is stolen, illegally obtained or illegal to posses or sell.

Nothing binds or associates me, the website or the 2/4 Association to anything.  This is a private sale between you and your potential buyer.

All items must be accurately described, if Damaged, say so...if New, say so...if it's blue, don't pass it off as white.

You must notify me via email when and if the item is sold so it can be removed to free up web space.

All fees are to be paid prior to my listing your item on the For Sale page....cash, check or MO.

The way it will work is that you (the seller) will write a description of the item that you want to sell (or trade), send it to me via email or snail mail (include a picture if you want to show the item) and I will post it to the sale page for 3 months.  At the end of 3 months you can either renew the listing or cancel it.  The item should have an asking price even if it's an 'OBO' listing. You MUST include an accurate email address, or snail mail address or telephone number in the description so interested parties can contact you

(not me or the website).
