This is proof that when Capt. (Gunny) Ed Garr joined former Amtrac'er Tom Williams and a group of Amtrac Vets at their reunion in Tampa Florida that you do not leave anything to chance...this was, at one time, a ½ inch thick glass table top in the lobby of the hotel.  Ed placed a TV on top of the table and Tom decided to move the table to the corner...not knowing that the glass top was a separate piece.  (In tom's defense, it was only 8am)

The Company Photos (Panoramas) below were taken in 1963 & 1964  while 2/4 was still in Kaneohe Bay.  In addition there is a Golf Co photo from Dec 1966.  Each is a large file and my take a few minutes to open when you click on the thumbnail...Please be patient.  We are still looking for a copy of the 1964 Echo Company Photo...if you have one PLEASE contact the webmaster.

What we are trying to do is name each person in every photo.  In company photos  like these it's best to assign a row number to each row starting at the bottom of the picture and a position number at the first person in that row.  For example if you open the thumbnail on the Hotel Company (4/64) picture Row 1, Position 1 would be reported as 1/1 Larry King and 1/4 Jerry Tharp while 2/3 is Dick Tonucci & 2/6 is Robert I. Jones, etc.  When and if you can identify someone by position in any photo simply send the webmaster an email giving the photo name or description, Row # and Position # (IE: 1/4) with the name.  Thanks--- this information will be preserved and sent to the Associations archives.
